Abstract

This article analyzes the results of an exploratory applied research, a qualitative and descriptive statistical analysison the use of distance education (e-learning) in the interorganizational context. The object is the degree of efficacy ofdistance education, using the case study methodology on the implementation of distance education for business partnersin an insurer company. The result of the research identifies the need of improvement to the tools used to measure theefficacy. Although the perception is positive about this type of training, the tools used were not able to measure the efficacyof training proposed, demonstrating the need for improvements and a definition of more specific measurement criteria toensure the expected results.
