Abstract

Companies are under pressure to improve competitive performance for both organizations can adopt a strategy that encompasses innovations in processes and tools of continual improvement, which is based on waste elimination, improved products, increased productivity, as well as the use solutions that build on motivation and creativity of employees to improve the practice of their processes. This study aims to analyze the process innovation and continuous improvement methodology implemented in a plastics industry Furniture Polo Serra Gaucha. The methodology used in researching this incident was a case study, using as a tool for collecting and analyzing data, structured interviews and content analysis. This article described the continuous improvement in applying the Method of Analysis and Solution of Problem (MASP), adapted to the reality of business, innovation in the process resulted in significant improvements, with savings of 20.32% in the cost of parts.
