Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the music market from a demand perspective. Brazilian tastes in music were mapped in the five regions of the country, which demonstrate the evolution of taste over the analysis period, July 2005 to January 2012. The analysis considered diverse musical genres of Brazilian and international music.
