The Public Manager’s Perception under Project Management Policy

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to examine the project´s implementation of the state government using the project management policy under the managerâs perception, highlighting the difficulties and the reached results. This policy was used by a specific part of the government where some points were debated, like amendments and details of public management, based on the literature. Thus, it could be investigated through interviews and content analysis the management and the culture entrance in the state projects. It could also be observed that part of the state government became more efficient with this method guidance, especially in: information flow, decision making and the services and worksâ reduction delivery time, considering the relevance of the latest two points in public sector.
